About Agape

"Agape" is a greek word meaning "love" (as a special friendship). Agape was refered to as a "love feast" shared by the early deciples. They came together sharing food, drink, laughter and their love of God. Agape is also an expression of good will, even to those who hurt and injure us. This type of love is what Christ calls for in the New Testament. Love of enemies comes under this. It's both a feeling of the heart and expression of the will. In today's world, we feel we need a place to come together and share godwill, mutual concerns and beliefs, laughter, food and our love of Jesus, just as the deciples did all those years ago.
